This Assistant Controller will work closely with senior leadership and have a clear growth path to Controller. It offers a competitive base salary up to $130,000 plus bonus.
Assistant Controller Responsibilities:
- Own the accounting and finance function of the management company that oversees three trust companies
- Lead month end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead and mentor one Accounting Specialist, to start
- Develop the annual budget, analyze results and provide real-time projections to re-forecasts
- Analyze spending trends and cash flow
- Manage AP, AR, billing and revenue functions
Assistant Controller Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
- 5+ years private equity, funds or financial services
- Demonstrated ownership of processes or people
