This is a high-impact role overseeing day-to-day inventory accounting, month-end close, and margin analysis across the Americas. Inventory Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

Lead daily inventory accounting activities, including sales and margin analysis

Own the month-end close for inventory-related accounts and reconciliations

Manage and analyze inventory reserves and oversee annual physical inventory

Serve as the go-to expert for PeopleSoft ERP inventory issues and improvements

Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and Operations to streamline accounting processes

Support internal controls and contribute to annual audit preparation and execution

Drive process redesign efforts to reduce manual work and enhance system efficiency
Inventory Cost Accounting Manager Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

6+ years of experience in inventory cost accounting; PeopleSoft ERP experience strongly preferred

Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
-
Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Excel and data tools like Power BI

Exceptional communicator with experience collaborating across departments
