Accounting Manager

Are you an accounting professional looking to help drive strategy for a strong and steadily growing company? Our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience to join their team as an Accounting Manager.  
 
Accounting Manager Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operations 

• Support month-end and year-end close process for three companies (manufacturing campus, two sales organizations plus consolidations).  This will include A/P accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis etc.  

• Prepare and monitor the annual budget, forecasting financial results and making recommendations for improvements 

• Conduct financial analysis and provide timely reports to the management team, highlighting key financial metrics, trends and variances 

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support and training as needed 

Accounting Manager Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA designation is preferred 

• 2+ years of proven experience in a managerial role overseeing accounting functions, preferably in a similar industry 

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control procedures 

• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting 

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
