Job Description
Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their growing office in Lake Forest, IL. In addition to overseeing all accounting functions, the Accounting Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure objectives are met.This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $120,000, plus bonus and competitive benefits! This role will be in office in Lake Forest.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of three direct reports
- Manage and oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions
- Responsible for preparing general ledger journal entries, monthly balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations
- Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls, and maintain strict confidentiality
- Partner with internal finance and sales teams on variance analysis, future sales forecasts, etc.
- Ad-hoc reporting/requests as needed
Accounting Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting or equivalent experience
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- People management experience required
- AP, AR and general ledger accounting experience required
