A well-established company based in Great Neck, NY is seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with QuickBooks Desktop. The ideal candidate will take ownership of core accounting functions while collaborating cross-functionally and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of QuickBooks Desktop for 3 corporate entities

Manage accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and ACH payments

Handle subscription billing and ensure timely invoicing
-
Process biweekly payroll for 12 employees (including 1 international in El Salvador)

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and prepare journal entries

File sales and use tax and support audit readiness

Communicate with the external accountant and manage internal purchasing and billing workflows
Accountant Requirements:

Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop (must-have)

Experience with AR, AP, collections, and subscription billing

Payroll experience, including international payroll coordination

High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial information

Excellent communication and organizational skills

MSP or tech company background preferred

Degree not required — experience and skillset are what matter most
