Challenge
LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading financial services and technology provider since 2007. Our client has ongoing seasonal staffing needs for its 300-seat call center. Projects range from three months to over six months and required shifts include full-time days and part-time evenings.
Identify – Candidates with at least six months of customer service or call center experience
Qualify – Call center representatives with expert communication skills and the ability to follow a script and deliver information effectively. Candidates must also meet specific verbal and math requirements, as well as pass stringent background checks
Deliver – Fifteen to 100 candidates per start class
Solutions
LaSalle Network developed a specific sourcing and recruitment strategy for our client’s high volume need.
The recruitment strategy consisted of the following:
- Interview Program – To efficiently and effectively interview and qualify a high volume of candidates in a brief time period, LaSalle Network created a specialized interviewing program. This evaluation program enabled our team to gain as much pertinent information from our candidates as possible in a short timeframe, allowing LaSalle to present qualified candidates to our client quickly
- Customized Testing – LaSalle Network tested all candidates on a Web-based system called ProveIt!, which is the leading online tutorial and testing system. ProveIt! has the ability to gain another layer of insight into a candidate’s skill set and background. It is accessible from any computer with Internet access and all of our locations have a testing center that can test on over 10,000 different skills
- Job Fairs – LaSalle Network hosted numerous job fairs to gain access to a high volume of qualified candidates in a short time frame to fill our client’s call center needs
Results
Since our partnership began, we have successfully placed more than 1,700 customer service representatives in our client’s call center. As our client relationship has grown and staffing needs have surged since 2007, LaSalle has become keenly in-tune with our client’s ideal candidate, culture and operational structure.
