LaSalle Network

Fifty three placements with two weeks notice

Challenge

LaSalle Network began working with our client, an accredited, online leader of higher education, in November 2007. Due to past staffing success with LaSalle Network, across our lines of business, our client presented us the opportunity to provide a high volume of candidates to assist with their graduation ceremony. This event had been extremely difficult to manage in previous years, and our client needed a partner who would deliver.

LaSalle Network was given two weeks notice to identify, qualify and deliver over 50 entry-level employees to ensure this important event ran smoothly.

Identify – Candidates for a one-day project
Qualify – Candidates who could arrive off-site at 6:00 A.M. with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Deliver – 50+ professional and polished candidates at an affordable bill rate within a two week timeline

Solutions

LaSalle Network developed a specific sourcing and recruitment strategy for our client’s high volume need.

The recruitment strategy consisted of the following:

  • Fluid Recruitment Team – LaSalle Network’s team-based organizational structure allowed us to transfer recruiters across business units to help recruit and screen a mass volume of candidates, in order to handle this urgent staffing need.
  • Direct E-mail Campaign – LaSalle used out of the box strategies to connect with passive and active job seekers through a targeted email and phone campaigns.
  • Campus Recruiting – For this specific need, LaSalle Network utilized our network within the Big Ten university system to obtain qualified and available candidates.

Results

Within a week’s time, LaSalle qualified nearly 100 candidates who fit the client’s requirements.  When the event day arrived, LaSalle delivered 53 entry-level candidates to ensure the graduation ceremony ran smoothly. At 6:00 A.M. on graduation morning, LaSalle Network representatives met our 53 candidates at the graduation site to address any last minute problems or issues. LaSalle Network representatives remained on-site for the duration of the ceremony to ensure the event ran smoothly.
